Elaine MacNeil, age 70, passed away peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, in Montague on Monday, June 4, 2018. Born in Montague, Oct. 7, 1947. She is survived by her loving husband Howard MacNeil, two sons Ryan (Christine) and Ian; grand-daughter Sarena; Sister Ruth MacDonald, Brother Garth Mackenzie and Sister-in-Law Claire Mackenzie and will be missed by her many Nieces and Nephews. Elaine is predeceased by her parents Osborne and Katherine (Nicholson) Wood; her aunt and uncle Marion and Norman Mackenzie who raised her; Sister Norma MacNeil, Brothers Willard Mackenzie and Donnie Mackenzie. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service to take place at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Cardigan at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Andrews Cemetery.
