Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, June 24, 2018 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer, Mr. Fred G. Andrews of Bay Roberts, aged 80 years. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Marcella (nee Dawe). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his devoted wife Shirley (nee Greenland); sons: Scott (Donna), Barry (Daphne); daughters: Janice (Claude) Mercer, Karen (Neil) Whelan; sisters: Ruby (Charles) Casey (both deceased), Lorraine (deceased) (Fred) Boone; brothers: Reg (Nina) (both deceased), Bill (Doreen), Gordon (Judy), Phil (Mary), Willard (deceased) (Debbie), Bert (Debby); grandchildren: Kristen (Rob), Aimee, Justin, Michael, Corey, Ryan, Nicholas, Terry and Laura; special Aunt Marguerite Jester of New Hampshire; great-grandchildren: Natasha and Libby; sister-in-law Brenda Andrews. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts with visitation on Tuesday: 10:30-12 Noon; 2-4 PM; 7-9 PM; Wednesday: 10-12 Noon; 2-4 PM; 7-9 PM; Thursday: 10-12 Noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2 PM from the Anglican Parish of the Resurrection, South River. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Anglican Parish of the Resurrection, South River, with inurnment to follow on Saturday, June 30, 2018, 11 AM at All Saint’s Anglican Cemetery, South River.
