It is with great sadness that we, the family of Marty Joseph Kowalczyk announce his passing on June 26, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. He was a son of the late Joseph and Betty (Ferguson) Kowalczyk.
Marty is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Nissen); sister, Jean (Art Rogers); brothers, Eric (Tracey Dwyer), and David; many nieces and nephews and his furbabies, Turbo and Lacy.
Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Betty.
A Celebration of Marty’s life will take place on Friday, June 29th at 3 p.m. in the S.W. Chant and Son Funeral Home Chapel, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Rev. Sheldon Chant to officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the C.B. Cancer Centre Patient Care fund or Palliative Care.
