Keith Dollimount
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Keith Dollimount, a true man of God, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother. He passed away peacefully at CBRH, ICU on July 2, 2018 at the age of 67 after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Audrey (Tarr); his daughters, Amy (Mark) Deane and Tara (Preston) Troke; his grandsons, Joshua, Mitchell, Daniel and Matthew, and his precious granddaughter, Molly, all of whom he loved with all his heart and was so proud of. He is also survived by brothers, David, Louisbourg and Wade Dollimount, BC; sister, Betty (Mark) Steylen, Sydney. Also by brothers-in-law, David (Shannon) and Ken (Wanda) Tarr; sisters-in-law, Lynette Bresowar, Sydney, and Nancy (Kevin) Johnson, Ontario, along with several nieces and nephews.
Keith is predeceased by his mother and father, Olive and Ray Dollimount, and his brothers, Raymond, Gilbert and Clyde. Also by mother and father-in-law, Vivian and Frank Tarr.
Keith was a faithful member of Sydney Pentecostal Church, a member of the church Board, was treasurer, and loved attending church whenever he could. He loved his Lord and Saviour with all his heart, and is now in his heavenly home free from all sickness and pain.
Visitation for Keith will be held Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, July 6, at 11 a.m., at Sydney Pentecostal Church, 20 Victoria Rd., Sydney with Pastor Ron Coole officiating.
