Clyde Voutier
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, Clyde William Voutier, age 79, on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Northside General Hospital. Born in North Sydney on October 5, 1938, Clyde was the son of the late Clayton and Hilda (Hatcher) Voutier. Clyde worked as a stevedore with Marine Atlantic retiring after 50 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Clyde is survived by his wife Annie (Bennett) Voutier; his children, Beverly Voutier (Ian), Edmonton, Brian Voutier, Alberta, Susan Voutier, British Columba, Sheila Voutier (Eddie), Sydney Mines; his four grandchildren, David, Erica, Mark, Jamie; two great-grandchildren, Dominic and Genevieve; his sister, Marcella (Jack) Talbot, Burlington; two brothers, Jan (Sharon) Voutier, Georges River, Wayne Voutier, Ontario; nieces & nephews and grandnieces & grandnephews.
There will be no visitation by request. A private family service will be held at Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney with Rev. Brenda Drake officiating.
