Mr. Gerald (Jerry) Francis Coombs passed away suddenly at Woodstock General Hospital in Woodstock, Ontario on Friday, July 6, 2018 in his 60th Year. Predeceased by mother Elizabeth Coombs; grandparents: William and Rose Ann Nash, Thomas and Nora Coombs & Rita Langer; uncles: William Coombs, Melvin Coombs & Francis Nash; aunts: Alice Dunderdale, Theresa Elder & Margaret Fortune; niece: Jessica; nephew: Dawson. Leaving to mourn father: Gerald Edward Coombs; siblings: Maureen (Gary), Sharon (Carl), Donald (Bernadette), Allan (Rhonda), Sherry (Sheldon) & Margaret, along with nieces, nephews, extended family and friends from NL to Delhi, Ontario. Jerry made friends anywhere he went. A special thank you to the Tabernacle Church in Delhi, Ontario for all they did for Jerry for the many years he resided there. At his request cremation has taken place. The Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from Sacred Heart R.C. Church & Cemetery, Hearts Desire. Following burial there will be a Newfoundland kitchen party as Jerry wanted everyone to celebrate his life not mourn his death. All mummers allowed in! The family will be receiving relatives and friends at SACRED HEART MORTUARY CHAPEL, HEARTS DESIRE on Friday: 2-4 P.M. & 7- 9 P.M. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke or Canadian Diabetes Association.
