We, the family, Sisters and Associates of the late Sister Agnes Burrows, wish to express gratitude and thanks to our relatives and friends, to members of the many groups to which she belonged and to all who showed their loving support by their many acts of kindness during the illness and recent death of our beloved Sister. We offer our deepest appreciation to all who reached out to us in any way; to everyone who attended her both at home and during her long hospital stay, visited her, phoned and emailed, came to the wake and funeral, sent cards, Masses, flowers, charitable donations, food, etc. We give thanks to God for all who helped to make our farewell liturgy a Celebration of Life: Bishop Dunn, Fathers Norman McPhee, Doug Murphy, Paul MacGillivray, Bedford Doucette, Patrick O’Neil and the many other priests in attendance, all who took part in the liturgy, the pallbearers and honour guard, the many family members and friends, to Rev. Eric Lynk and the people of Chiclayo, Peru, for their words, the choirs and the ladies from Holy Cross who prepared the reception. A sincere thank you is extended to the Management and Staff of McGillivrary’s Funeral Home for their kindness, respect and caring. May the life of our Sister continue to influence our lives forever. In the words of our sister: “My challenge to you is that you love and reach out to others.”
