Passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, July 28, 2018, Elizabeth Power of Harbour Grace; formerly of Bell Island, age 77 years. Elizabeth was a retired teacher and assistant hockey coach who has helped countless youth over the years. Predeceased by husband: Richard 'Dick'; parents: Ned and Rita Kent; brothers: Bill, Ray, and Otto. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Danita Power and Libby (Brad) Winslow, both of Harbour Grace; special grandson: Shane; two sisters: Ida (Ron, deceased) Locke, Gander and Edna (Fidelis, deceased) Ward, Ottawa, ON; also her brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Thank you to so many friends and family who have stood by mom the past two years since dad has passed and who continue to stand by us. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Wednesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, August 3 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. The Inurnment for Richard ‘Dick’ and Elizabeth will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
