Wayne Francis Doyle, age 76 of Hammonds Plains, passed away July 29, 2018, peacefully with his family by his side.
Born in Halifax on March 23, 1942, grew up in Sydney, then returned to Halifax to pursue his accounting career. Wayne was a Certified General Accountant and worked for Canada Revenue Agency, retiring in 2002 after 31 years of service. Wayne’s passion and devotion was always his FAMILY.
He was the son of the late Harry and Margaret (Nicolle) Doyle.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dianne (Neville); daughters, Carolee (Denis Chassé), Kelly (Sean Pottie), Karen (Tom Dowe); son, David (Stacey Anderson), all of Hammonds Plains; sisters, Carol (Bud) Farmer, Marlene (Peter) Burke, Phyllis (Stewart) Matheson of Sydney and Diane (Gordon) Lewis of Porters Lake; brothers, Ray Doyle of Sydney, Gary (Isabel) Doyle of Milford; sisters-in-law, Linda Neville and Ashlene Neville of Sydney; grandchildren, Dayne, Anika, Lauren, Julia, Blake, Luke, Logan, Maria, Connor, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on August 2 at 2 p.m. at St. Ignatius Church, Bedford.
