We, the family of the late Mary Cathcart, wish to offer our heartfelt gratitude for the compassion and kindness shown to us in our recent loss. We are greatly comforted by the people who called, messaged, visited and brought food to our house, sent floral tributes, sympathy cards and Mass cards, and travelled long distances to be with us. Thank you to Fr. Duaine Devereaux for his wonderful homily during the Mass of Celebration, to the 40-voice mixed choir for the lovely music, to organist James McNeil, to Nina MacDonald Chiasson for her beautiful solo, and to Robyn for his vocal tribute to his mother. Thanks to pallbearers, Allan Cathcart, Mark Chiasson, Kurt Ferguson, Jeff Conn, Dawson Sampson and Brad LeBlanc, to readers Beverly Breski, Heather Pierre and Helen Jenkins; to Erna Ferguson and Norma Chiasson for the offertory gifts; to altar servers Jay Bigley, Charles Rogers and Bobby Morrison; to Eucharistic Ministers, Charlie and Margie MacDonald; to greeters Rebecca Cathcart and Dawn McCormick; to the St. Anne’s ladies for providing the refreshments after the service; and to Judy Conn for creating the unique programs. A special “Thank you” to the wonderful, dedicated first responders, and the doctors, nurses and technicians at the C.B. Regional Hospital ER and ICU for their efforts to keep Mary with us; and to Trevor, Wendy and Debbie at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialist for going above and beyond to make Mary’s send-off meaningful and uplifting. Your kindness, like Mary, will forever remain in our hearts.
