Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on August 22, 2018 the passing of Laverne Ann Ohlandt of Georgetown devoted wife of 49 years to Manfred Ohlandt occurred at age 69. Born in Georgetown September 19, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Moore) Martell. Laverne is survived by her loving children M. Shannon (Dawn), H. Christian (Amy) and Torson N; loving mother-in-law Ingrid T. Barrett; cherished granddaughters Savannah Dawn and Carmen Kathleen; brothers and sisters Harvey (Dale), Joey (Valerie), Jerry (Lila), Glen (Dawn), Mike (Tammi), Pauline Comeau (Israel deceased), June Dauphinee (Doug deceased), Maureen Praught (Tony), numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers Lawrence and Buddy; sisters Marion Arsenault, Gladys Martell and Catherine King. No visitation by Laverne’s request. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday August 27, at 11 a.m. from the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel.
