It is with heavy hearts that the family of Larry Honke announces his passing in Cold Lake, Alberta at the age of 71 years. Larry will be dearly missed by the love of his life, his wife of 49 years: Sharon of Cold Lake, AB and the light of his life, his daughter: Sherry (Will) of Belleisle, NS; grandchildren: Kyle (Megan) Bear of Cold Lake, AB, Jenell (Max) Bear of Montreal, QC, Walter and Thomas of Belleisle, NS; great grandkids: Kaleb and Lexi of Cold Lake, AB; three brothers: Dale (Jan) of Winnipeg, MB, Clint (Ann) of Calgary, AB, Wade (Heather) of Selkirk, MB; In-laws: Margo Marshall, Linda Jordan, Doreen (Rick) Willness all of Smeaton, SK, Marlene (Morris) Hoursell of Saskatoon, SK, Dave (Joan) Falloon of Campbell River, BC; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.Larry was predeceased by his grandson: Logan Bear; parents Hank & Bea Honke; brothers: Garry & Brad; father & mother-in-law: George and Ella Falloon; brother-in-law: Wally Marshall and special niece: Corinna Willness. Larry spent many years working in construction as a pipefitter and operator meeting many friends along the way. His interests included watching movies, playing golf, spending time on his computer, fishing, hunting, reading books and watching the jets come in while solving crossword puzzles. Family time was what Larry enjoyed the most...playing games, with the grandkids, teaching the peace sign, sharing laughter, yet he was our rock in all experiences. We will miss him at our gatherings-small & LARGE!
