Passed away at home surrounded by loving family on Saturday, September 22, 2018, Janet Cranford Higdon of New Harbour, aged 97 years. Predeceased by parents, Ed and Anne Cranford; and son, Bill. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories and to celebrate her life with thanksgiving areher husband almost 79 years, Andrew; 3 daughters, Dorothy (Ray) Lewis, Myrtle Newhook, and Sandra; 1 son, Michael (Lois); 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Howard; and too many nieces, nephews, and friends to count. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Monday, September 24, 7:00 - 9:00 pm and Tuesday, September 25, 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A service of celebration and thanksgiving for Janet’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 26 at 2:00 pm from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, New Harbour with interment to follow at St. Augustine’s Anglican Cemetery, New Harbour.
