James G. MacFadyen, 88, of Sherwood, P.E.I. passed away peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Home on Monday, September 24, 2018. Born May 12, 1930 in Morell East and raised in Hunter River, he was the youngest son of the late Daniel and Hattie (MacEachern) MacFadyen. James was the loving husband to the late Anna (Matheson) MacFadyen. He is survived by his son David (Kirsten Ross), daughters Sandra (Doug White) and Sharon Johnson (Darrell) as well as his grandchildren Sydney Johnson and Reece Johnson. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Phyllis MacFadyen and Margaret Cosgro. He was predeceased by brothers Ralph (Gladys) MacFadyen and Reginald MacFadyen and sister Myrtle (Peter) MacInnis. Resting at the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Friday from Park Royal United Church at 10 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
