The death occurred at Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Thursday September 27, 2018 of Fred David Horne, Bloomfield, aged 75 years, beloved husband of Sherrill (Rennie). Born in Bloomfield, son of the late David and Ethel (Hunter) Horne. Fred is survived by his brother (Blair (Sharon), Bloomfield; sisters Brenda (Vernon) Rodd, Charlottetown and Beryl (Allan) MacKenzie, Brookvale and brothers and sisters in law Arlene Rennie, Alma; Dale (Annette) Rennie, Alma; Ronnie (Joan) Rennie, Alma; Karen (Leonard) McNeill, Rosebank; Dianne Rennie, Dartmouth, N.S. and Doug Rooney, Scarborough, ON. He will also be missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, infant son Aeron Frederick Horne (February 11, 1967), brother in law Alden Rennie and sister in law Joanne. Resting at Ferguson Funeral and Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Saturday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bloomfield United Cemetery.
