ELSIE MISIWICH
1932 – 2018
Elsie Misiwich was born on Sunday, February 21, 1932, St. Alphonse, MB to Gerard and Renilda (nee Maes) Delichte, and passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 86 years. In 1954 Elsie moved to Uranium City, SK, where she met the love of her life Bill Misiwich. They married on July 9, 1957 in Lloydminster, AB, and had two children, a son who passed away shortly after birth, and their daughter, Pollyann. Elsie lived in Uranium City, SK, for 31 years before moving to Prince Albert. Elsie enjoyed spending her time fishing, attending the Prince Albert Mintos and Bears games, and watching baseball games. Elsie and Bill took numerous vacations together throughout Canada and the United States. She enjoyed many road trips, especially those where she visited with her relatives.Elsie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bill M. Misiwich; her daughter, Pollyann (Terry) Henderson; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred & Linda Misiwich of Martenville, SK, Gerald Misiwich of Edmonton, AB, Paul & Twilla Misiwich of Beaverdam, AB, Edith Misiwich of Beaverdam, AB, and Edward Dlugos of Bonnyville, AB; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents, Gerard & Relinda Delichte; her brother, Robert (Julie) Delichte; her sisters, Elaine (Arthur) Bounds, and Cecilia Leatherberry; her father and mother-in-law, John & Katherine “Kate” Misiwich; her sisters-in-law, Helen Misiwich and Irene Dlugos; her brother-in-law, Ed Misiwich.
