It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Late Isabel MacDonald announce her passing on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL at the age of 93 years. She will be forever remembered and loved by her children: Louis (Madonna), Michael, Nancy; grandchildren: Louis, Suzanne, Paul, Jonathon, Scotty; great-grandchildren: Connor, Morgan, Griffin, Isabella, Michaela; sisters: Barb Kovich, Janet Williford, Magdalen Cochrane; sister-in-law Gladys MacDonald; special friend Roxanne MacIsaac; as well as nieces, nephews other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Michael MacDonald Sr.; parents John and Nancy Young; sisters: Emma Cannady, Marie Anderson, Loretta Lee; brothers: Fintan Young, Ted Young, Ivan Young and special brother Douglas Young. Visitation took place at St. Joseph’s Parish, Heatherton on Sunday, Oct. 7th between the hours of 7-9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass was held on Monday, Oct. 8, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Father Maurice O’Quinn officiating. Burial in the old Roman Catholic Cemetery, Heatherton took place following the service. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Parish Memorial Fund.
