Helen Elizabeth Fraser passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on October 7th in Riverview, N.B. She was predeceased by her loving husband Alexander Frank Fraser in 2007. Helen was the daughter of the late Robert and Eliza (Boutilier) Frame of Stellarton, N.S. She is survived by her daughters, Jaine (Brian) Parry, Summerville, South Carolina; Cathy (Maurice) Roy, Shediac, N.B.; Cyndy Henderson (Carroll MacDougall), Antigonish, N.S. and Miriam (Paul) Bennett, New Glasgow, N.S.; her son, Drew Fraser (Marlene Snowman), Sackville, NB.; her grandchildren, Chris Russell, Allison Pineo, Tommi Dobson, Jennifer Henderson, Elizabeth Beaugrand, Robb Clarke, Jamie Clarke, Meghan Forret and Chelsea Bennett-Colonese, as well as by her seven great-grandchildren. Helen and Frank were long-time residents of Sackville, N.B. They enjoyed many summers at their cottage at Sinclair’s Island, N.S. and after Frank’s retirement from the Royal Bank, winters at their home in Florida. Helen was known for her love of all animals, music, singing, gardening, painting and her family. Helen was predeceased by her siblings, Jeane Summerville Church and Laird Scott Frame; her nephew David Church (Pat Kirby), as well as by her son-in-law Raff Henderson. The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Monarch Hall in Riverview for the great care and kindness shown to their Mum over the last seven years. Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 3 pm with Rev. Lloyd Bruce officiating.
