It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Norma Scott, announce her passing at the Long Term Care Facility in Corner Brook on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 63 years Robert; sons: Brian (Debbi), Craig (Lori); daughters: Sharon Scott (Brent), Tracey Baker (Douglas); grandchildren: Stephen, Tyler, Leanne, Kristen, Meaghan, Alexandria, Amy and Emily; brother: Merril (Mary); sister: Gladys Batten (Bruce). Norma was predeceased by her father: Chesley White; mother: Blanche (stepfather Jack McKay); sisters: Suzanne Martin (Edward), Elizabeth King (Milton); brother: Melvin (Georgia); father-in-law: Albert Scott; mother-in-law: Sarah (Atwood); brothers-in-law: Kitchener (Muriel), Edgar; sisters-in-law: Jean Roe (James), Joan Holmes (Bobbie), Annie. Cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will be held from Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Service of Remembrance will be held from Country Haven Chapel on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 2pm with Reverend Stewart Payne officiating. Interment to take place at a later date at the Townsite Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson’s Canada or to a charity of one’s choice.
