Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, November 3, 2018, William (Willie) Nelson, age 91 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 67 years, Amelia; his daughters Janet (Dr. Gerry Murray), Sandy (Jordan Christopher), Joan (Rodger Evans) and Mona (Harvey Matthews); sons Gerry and Paul (Mary). Also leaving to mourn his eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren along with a large number of nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his family. Predeceased by his parents John and Ethel and his nine brothers and three sisters. Bill was a loving husband and father and known for his kind gentle heart. He always let his family know they were loved with the words “I Love You More”. He leaves a big empty space in our hearts. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff at 4 South A of the Health Sciences Centre. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from Corpus Christi Church with cremation to follow. Donations can be made in his name to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
