We regret to announce the sudden passing of Mary Louise Faulkner, age 69, on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the Northside General Hospital.
Born in Sydney Mines on March 1, 1949, she was the daughter of the late George and Minnie (Clarke) Bennett.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She is survived by sons, Cyril Faulkner, Jason Faulkner and Donald Faulkner, Kevin (April) MacMullin, Kenny MacMullin, and her daughter, Norma Jean Faulkner. Also surviving are her sisters, Ethel Hillier, Irene (Dave) Robertson, Linda Blackie, Sandra (Stuart) Andrews, Donna (Lorne) Edmunds; her brothers, Douglas, Roy (Annette), Roderick (Theresa), Andrew (Darlene), and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Joan, and brothers, Frank, Kenneth, and John in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. in J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. A celebration of her life will take place at 4 p.m. in the funeral home, with Fr. James Oliver officiating.
