Trenton - Margaret A. “Peggy” Pye, 73, of Trenton. Margaret Pye, who was known by everyone as Peggy, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, November 1, 2018, surrounded by her family. Peggy loved to read, knit and crochet. She was a true fan of the Blue Jays and the Montreal Canadiens. Mom always made sure her bird feeder was up so she could enjoy watching her humming birds. She is survived by the love of her life of 60 years, Bill; her children: Kaaren (Tim), Westville; Donna (Sandy), Trenton; Peggy (Rob), Trenton; Darrell, New Glasgow; Molly (Lawrence), Stellarton; Bill (Tabatha), Trenton; chosen daughter, Peggy MacLean, Scotsburn; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Kaaren (Greg) Hoare; Jolene (Dave) Brimicombe; Karlya Pye; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mama is now reunited with her fur baby, Dusty, whom she loved dearly. Visitation and funeral were held Sunday, Nov. 4, in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton. Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiated the service. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Pictou County SPCA or the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
