Mrs. Fern Bendell of Clarke’s Beach passed away at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Mrs. Bendell was 86 years old. She leaves to mourn her loving family: daughters: Ruth (Dennis) Brown, Linda (Dale) Thiesen & Cindy (Terry) Brett; treasured family member: Aaron (Joan) Morris; 7 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren and a large circle of family & friends. Predeceased by: husband: Stanley; parents: Alex & Ruth Anthony; precious grandson: Baby Brett; 4 siblings. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from Grace United Church, Coley’s Point with a private family interment at the United Church Cemetery, Clarke’s Beach. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her loving memory to the Alzheimer’s Unit of the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear.
