FREDERICK BLAGDON
Frederick Gordon Blagdon passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born December 31, 1938, in Diamond Cove, NL, Fred was the son of the late Frederick Ernest and Bertha (Cox) Blagdon.
Fred is survived by his children, Bob, Cathy, Rose Marie and Jason, as well as their mother, Elsie; stepchildren, Lawrence, Brian, Paul, Barry and Lisa; sisters, Gladys Ashford, Eileen Keeping and Annie Bennett. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Fred was predeceased by his wife, Elaine; stepson, David; sisters, Amelia Jessome, Violet Pye, Flora Taylor and Myrtle Rideout; brothers, George, Garland, Freeman and Leslie.
The family wish to thank the staff of ICU at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the care Fred received.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request.
