Born in South Granville on February 15, 1927 daughter of the late Samuel and Phoebe (Axworthy) Smith. Wife of the late J. Roy Frizzell. Mother of Betty Lou (Charles) Abbott and Garth (Cynthia) Frizzell . Grandmother to Christopher (Rayanne), and Alan Frizzell, Susan (Jamie) MacPhail, Stanley and Darrel Gauthier and Great-grandmother (Great One) to Hailey Coakes, Curtis, Rachel and Hannah Frizzell. Sister of Brenton (Ruth) Smith. Sister-in-law of Helen Smith, Ella Mayhew Smith and Audrey Smith. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law Donna Lee and David Gauthier, sisters Dorothy Smith, Bertha (Ivan) Frizzell, Mina Lord and brothers Robert, Cecil and James Smith; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Lloyd (Jean), Leslie (Hazel) and Allison (Harriett) Frizzell, Verna (George) Dixon, Priscilla (Preston ) Woodside, Rita (Ewen) Todd, Amy (Chalmers) MacLeod and Doris (Arthur) Bull.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Monday from 1- 2:15 p.m., followed by funeral in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
