The death occurred peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Saturday, November 10, 2018 of Florence Margaret MacDonald (nee Peters), aged 74 years of Souris River, PE. Loving mother to Lisa Wells (Morgan) and Mark (Judy). Sadly missed by grandchildren Avery and Spencer Wells, Emma MacDonald and Ken. Survived by sisters Mary Rice, Sue Kearney and brother Vic (Marilyn) Peters; brother-in-law Norbert MacDonald and sister-in-law Marg MacDonald. Also left to mourn her passing are her O’Keefe siblings Mary MacSwain (Dave), Lucy Noye (Bruce), Michael (Cheryl), Joseph (Lela Veld), Richard (Barb), Cheryl Broderick (Michael), Maureen Crawley, Charles, Stephanie (Brad Gardiner) and sister-in-law Kate. She will be deeply missed by dear friends Kathy O’Keefe, Leona Savoie, Carol Lesperance and April MacIntyre, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Earl; parents Victor and Margaret Peters (nee O’Keefe)/ Aidan and Mary O’Keefe; sister Anne Faye, and brothers Terry and Francis Paul O’Keefe; brothers-in-law Tom Rice, Dan and Eugene MacDonald. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 9:30am-10:15am. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00am. Interment will take place at a later date.
