The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 of Donald James Roberts of St Peters Bay, formerly of Morell aged 75 years. Survived by his wife Freda (Deveaux), daughter Melanie (Sheldon) Gauthier, son Billy (Heather), step-children Sharon (Donnie) Laybolt, Glen Doucette, Cindy (James) Dafoe, Terry (Christine) Doucette, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers and sisters, Lester Roberts, Agnes MacEwen, Marie Eldershaw, Albert Roberts, Bobby Roberts, Diane Henson, and Francis MacDonald. Predeceased by his son, Christopher; stepson Wesley; and by his parents, Roseanna MacDonald and Henry Roberts. Resting at the St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell with visitation on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 5-8 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday. November 24, 2018 at the Church at 11 am. Interment in the St Andrew’s Cemetery. Memorial donations in Donnie’s memory may be made to St Andrew’s Cemetery Fund.
