AMHERST - The funeral service for the late Dorothy "Dot" Gallant, age 98, formerly of Amherst, was held from Holy Family Parish Roman Catholic Church on Nov. 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Father Phil Thibodeau officiating. Preceding the Mass, Darlene Devison (niece) gave a heartfelt eulogy. Dorothy's brother, John (Junior) Burke had his remembrance remarks read by his daughter, Diane. Very close friend, Yolande Gothreau shared a special memory & later offered a spiritual reading during the Mass. The Parish Choir created warmth for the Service by singing her favorite hymns: 'Here I Am, Lord' & 'Be Not Afraid'. Pallbearers were family members: Ross Thibodeau, Stephen & Kristin Thibodeau, David & Jessica Thibodeau & Derek Devison. Members of the CWL provided the Reception for family & friends at the conclusion of the service. The burial took place at St. Charles Nativity Cemetery. Dorothy's family extend their sincere thanks for the Mass Cards, Sympathy Cards, online Condolences & Charitable Donations.
