It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Edward “Cashew” Britt Cameron, age 41, announce his passing on Friday, November 30, 2018.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Sadie (Martin) Cameron and the late Gordon Cameron.
Edward loved working as a boilermaker, a career he had for over 15 years working with the Boilermakers Union, Local 73. He had the opportunity to spend many years working alongside his father Gordie, when he wasn’t working you could find him working on cars with his cousin Jay or watching hockey, rooting for the Flyers.
Edward will be greatly missed by his mother, Sadie Cameron; his three children, Angel Cameron, Dalton Cameron and Cole Hynes; his sisters, Tracey Cameron (Ronnie) and Carrie Cameron; his nieces, Kayla and Kenzie Cameron; his niece and goddaughter, Britt Marie Cameron; two cousins, that always felt more like brothers, Jay Mann and Brandon White; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly.
He was predeceased by his father, Gordon “Peanuts” Cameron.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, NS (902-849-4199).
