Dorothy passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus her Saviour and Lord on Saturday morning December 1st, 2018, age 86, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre where she received exceptional loving care and was treated with dignity. Dorothy is survived by her brother Sam Mayne (Jean) and brother-in-law Edward Stewart (Vanessa). Dorothy will be greatly missed by nephew - Alan Mayne (AnneMarie), niece - Alison and partner Peter Lebel, nephew - David Stewart (Diane), niece - Heather Marshall (Mark), great niece - Natalie Mayne, and great nephews - Owen Marshall, Alex Mayne, Samuel Stewart, Cameron Marshall, Aidan Mayne, Luke, Nathan and Isaac Stewart. Predeceased by her late husband Martin Stewart. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 2-5 pm. Celebration service of Dorothy's life will be held at Grace Baptist Church Friday, December 7, 2018 at 2 PM. Interment will follow at the Sherwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Grace Christian School. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
