The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, of Robert “Bob” McCloskey, of Malpeque, aged 74 years. Born in Ottawa, ON, he was the son of the late Earl and Corinne (Martin) McCloskey. Survived by his wife Ruth (Renault) McCloskey; sons Paul (Cathy Walker) and Wayne (Melissa); grandchildren Sean, Courtney, Declan, Dawson, Tatyana, Keira and Emma; sisters Beverley (Victor) Zilinski, Elaine (George) Lalonde, Patricia (Daniel) Shean and Rosemary (Alain) Marenger; by a brother-in-law Michael Brennan; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Maureen Brennan. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Saturday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, where funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment later in Hope Cemetery, Ottawa, ON.
