Passed peacefully away on Friday, December 7th at the Pleasantview Towers surrounded by his loving family, John Alton (Jack) King, age 89 years. Predeceased by his parents Chesley and Meriam King, sisters Pearl, Mary and Ruth and brothers Harold and Spurgeon. Left with loving memories and grateful hearts are his wife Florence of 66 years, sons John (Carol) and Roger, his granddaughters (who were his pride and joy) Joanne (Mark) Belbin and Marlaine King (Jason Birmingham), his precious great-grandchildren Heidi and Chad Belbin and Jackson Birmingham who always put a smile on his face, sisters Fannie Hudson, Eileen Moores and Doris Beachin (Ralph), sister-in-law Rita King, brothers-in-law Robert Evans, Gren LeGrow (Debbie), Cec LeGrow (Doris), Mel LeGrow (Irene) and Dexter LeGrow and sisters-in-law Phyllis Thorne (Clayton), Jean Hill (Dave), Viola Mercer (Howard) and Joyce LeGrow. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Special thanks to staff of Pleasantview Towers 4NW for their unending care and kindness. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, Freshwater Road on Sunday, December 9th and Monday, December 10th from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service on Tuesday, December 11th at 2 p.m. from Bauline United Church.
