A beautiful soul was called to her heavenly home. With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Dear Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Theresa, on December, 9, 2018 at the Cove Guest Home surrounded by her loving family. Born in MacAdams Lake on April 9, 1933 to the late Dougal and Effie Belle (Harreitta) Currie.

Ma enjoyed gaelic singing, scottish music, one her greatest joys was gathering together with her siblings. She always amazed us how quickly she could whip up a pan of biscuits, set the table for any company that would drop in and was always a perfect hostess.
Theresa experienced joy as well as heart aches, but through it all would offer words of strength, wisdom, and her wonderful faith always prevailed.
Throughout her life, Theresa was a dedicated homemaker and was employed with Maritime Tel & Tel as a telephone operator where she made life long friendships, retiring in 1995 to spend time with her husband Tommy and family.
