It is with sadness that the family of Florence Fagan wishes to inform that she passed away peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday 18 December 2018. Florence, aged 92 years, was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary Fagan (nee Martin) and brother Tom. Left with fond and loving memories her sisters Madeline, Gertrude Griffiths (Stan, deceased), Mary Blyde (Jerry) and sister-in-law Evelyn. As well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Florence was as much a grandmother as aunt for the Fagan family, especially her nieces and nephews. Florence would want to thank everyone who helped care for her in her later years and asked that they dwell on the happy memories shared not the low points of ill health. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Florence’ memory to the charity where she dedicated hours volunteering, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Teresa’s Church.
