Linda Neary

Date de décès : 19 décembre 2018

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Linda Neary, 70, on December 19, 2018 with her loving family by her side after a brief illness at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Mom is now an angel in Heaven and reunited with her beloved husband, Patrick Neary (2017).
Born in New Waterford she is a daughter of the late John and Margret (Bruce) Price.
Linda is survived by her son, Randy (Tara); daughter, Tracey (Robert); special grandson, her pride and joy, Brody; great-grandson, Caleb; brothers, Johnny, Charlie, Harry; sisters, Charmayn, Mary, Francine, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Patrick.
Mom loved spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, friend and always thinking of others first.
“To know her was to love her”. She enjoyed watching her favorite ball team the Boston Redsox on TV and away, even when Mom was in the I.C.U the nurses made sure the game was on for her.
Thank you to all the nurses and doctors in Glace Bay, Sydney and Halifax for the excellent care she received and special thanks to Dr. Ellerker.
Donations can be made in her memory to Christmas Daddies or a charity of one’s choice.
Cremation has taken place under the care and guidance of Curry’s Funeral Home, Glace Bay. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church today (Friday December 21) at 1 p.m. with Father Norman Mcphee Presiding. Interment will be held at the Parish Cemetery.
Online condolences can be made to Linda’s family at www.currysfuneralhome.com.
“She’s some baby.”
