It is with great sadness that the family of Magdalene Vickers (nee White) announces her passing at her home in Witless Bay on December 23, 2018, age 80. Predeceased by her parents Ann and Peter White, brothers Bill and Leonard (Loretta), sisters Mary Glynn (Frank), Kay Norris (Joe), Gert Delurey (Tom), her daughter Lorraine (2017) and her son Raymond (2018).Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories her loving and devoted husband Raymond of 57 years; children Wayne (May), Joanie Tobin (Randy), Paul (Carol), Kim Legge (David), Scott (Lisa), Karen Melvin (Tim), daughter-in-law Beverly, 17 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, brother Gerard White (Joan), the Kent family, sister-in-law Geraldine Woodfine (Tom) and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Stephanie for all her love and care. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Thursday, December 27th from 2-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Friday, December 28th at 10 am from St. Patrick’s RC Church, Witless Bay. Flowers gratefully accepted. Cremation to follow with Inurnment to take place at a later date.
