Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit on, Tuesday, December 25, 2018 after a very courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her children, family and close friend. Predeceased by her husband’s David Chislett and Douglas Voisey; parents Ernest and Caroline Hanlon; brother-in-law Jerry Brown and close friend Sophie Lamontagne. Emma will always be remembered and sadly missed by her daughter Lisa Cole (Chris); sons Doug Voisey (April) and Bill Voisey (Ashley) and her precious grandchildren Emily, Douglas, Abigail, Lucille, Charlotte and Chase. Also leaving to mourn, her step-children Matthew Chislett, Laura Brushett (Stephen) and Heather Chislett; step-grandson Jackson; sisters Carol Brown, Rose Hanlon (Darrell), Bernice Hanlon (Murray) and Sheila Hanlon (John); brothers Ernie Hanlon (Sandy), Joseph Hanlon (Celine), Dennis Hanlon and Philip Hanlon (Christie); sister-in-law Mary Chislett and brother-in-law Ken Chislett (Donna); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family. Also, special friends John Kavanagh, Helen Woodford (Joe), Jean Hurley (Gord) and Cindy Healey (John). Special thanks to Dr. McCarthy, Dr. Hayward and Nurse Diane at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at Palliative Care. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 6-9 pm and Friday from 10 am - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 9:30am on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist with cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
