Passed away peacefully at Chancellor Park on December 25 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Gertrude Abbott and siblings Walter, Ambrose Jr., Richard, Daisy Martin, Beatrice Hunt, and Annie Cook. Left with precious memories his wife of 65 years Barbara Abbott (nee Morgan), his children Donna (Steve Porter), Jeanette, Elaine (Kevin Bursey), Sharon (Doug Milley), and Derek (Bonnie), 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Following the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family funeral will follow. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Art’s memory would be appreciated.
