David Thomas Murphy passed peacefully away on December 27, 2018 at the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. L.A. Miller Center, at the age of 67 years. He is predeceased by his parents: John and Eva Murphy; brother: Doug Murphy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his partner and best friend, Anne Gollop; daughter: Kara (Stephen) Sheppard and her mother Karen Bishop; grandchildren, who were the light of his life; Joshua & Juliana; brother: Ron (Valerie) Murphy; special cousins; Jackie Tilley, Eva (Watson) Martin, Jan (Clyde) Wiseman; Anne’s sons: Jeff and Ken; brother-in-law: Keith Bishop; sister-in-law: Beverley Wicks. As well as a large circle of other relative and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday December 30, from 2-4 and 7-9pm, Monday December 31, from 10-12am. Funeral Service to take place on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 2:00pm from the Barrett’s Chapel. Interment to take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
