Passed peacefully away on December 28, 2018 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Rose Ghaney, aged 77 years. Predeceased by her husband John; parents Joseph and Mercedes and sister Maureen. Leaving with fond memories Rose’s children; sons Wayne (Andrea), Keith (Sharon), John Jr. (Annette) and Barry (Trina), daughters Lynn Collins (Reg), Cathy Power (Sean), and Lisa Ennis (Tony); 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; siblings Louise (John-deceased), Maurice (Patricia), Marg (Doug), Sylvia (Ronald), Irene (Dave), Edna (Kevin), Ann (Barry), Marion (Donald), Marina, Terry, Clayton (Wendy) and Tim (Glenda); brother-in-law Charlie; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thank you to friends Jim and Geraldine Wade. Special thank you to the Nurses, Doctors and staff of all Eastern Health Dialysis Units. Also, a special thank you to the nurses of 5 East at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 1045 TOPSAIL ROAD, on Saturday December 29 from 4-9 p.m. and Sunday December 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday December 31,2018 at 10 a.m. from Holy Family Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Thomas of Villa Nova Cemetery.
