Passed peacefully away in her 89th year in the presence of her family at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. Predeceased by parents, James Francis (1955) and Florence Louise (nee McLeod) (1990); and brother James Laurence (2014). Leaving to mourn sister-in-law Thelma (nee Noel); nephews & niece: Laurence (Mary), Suzanne (Charlie Sauer), Paul (Gail Kenny), Christopher (Melanie), and Andrew (Tracey Primmer) and their families; cousins: Eleanor (Bob Chafe), Tom Gaulton (Paula), Elizabeth McGrath; special friends: Helen Gaulton, Bob and Sharon Thorne, Julie and Pat Kean. Special thanks to Serenity Homecare and the staff of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home for their compassion and care. Visitation at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Sunday, December 30 at 10:00am, with interment to follow at Freshwater United Church Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear at 12:30pm.
