The death occurred at the Garden Home in Charlottetown, on December 27, 2018 of Marion Theresa Ranahan (nee Ronaghan), aged 85. Beloved wife of the late Bert Ranahan. Survived by her sons, Earl (Janice), David (Arlene), Vincent (Anne), John, Kevin (Celeste) and Melvin, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, her sisters-in-law, Alice Ronaghan and Bonnie MacKinnon; and the extended Ronaghan and Ranahan families. Besides her husband Bert, she was predeceased by siblings, Earl Ronaghan (in infancy), Edward Ronaghan, Mary Ellen MacDonald (Hector), Agnes O’Brien (Clarence), Alfred Ronaghan, Reta Wilson (Albert) and Wilfred Ronaghan. There will be no visitation by personal request. Funeral mass will be held Monday, December 31, 2018 at St. Theresa, The Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, Morell, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers (family flowers only please), memorial donations may be made in Marion’s memory to Parkinson Canada, PEI chapter.
