Passed away December 30, after a prolonged illness, aged 74. Predeceased by his parents Josiah and Annie (Mercer), parents-in-law John and Dorothy (Chafe) McCabe, brother Don, niece Anne-Marie, and son-in-law James Delaney. Leaving to mourn his beloved wife, Dulcie (McCabe), children Darryl (Joan Hudson) and Deborah, grandchildren Nicholas, Andrew, Connor, and Michael, plus a large circle of family and friends. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of 7 East at St. Clare’s for their wonderful care over the past 4 months. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, with visitation January 2, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and January 3, from 12-1pm. Funeral Service from The Carnell Memorial Chapel, January 3 at 1pm, with reception to follow. Internment at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd.
