It is with a heavy heart but with cherished memories that we say goodbye to a beautiful soul. Cathy Lush of Gambo, NL passed away December 31, 2018 at the age of 61. She passed peacefully surrounded by an abundance of love from family and friends after a strong​ battle with cancer at James Peyton Memorial Hospital.​ Cathy was blessed to have wonderful nurturing parents in Donald and Lydia Waterman. She was adored by her nine siblings Donna (Randy), Christine (Arnold), Lloyd (Teenie),​ Rick (Susan), Kirk (Pam), Jessie (Damien), Danny, Paul (Tracey) and Lori (Dion).​ Cathy was a devoted wife to Jerry for 44 years. She was a loving and selfless mother to Charlene, Mark (Denise) and Jennifer (Damian) and an amazing grandmother to Sidney,​ Evan, Oliver and Casey.​ Cathy always made sure that those who entered her home were made to feel welcomed and offered a cup of tea.​ Though she may no longer be with us, she will be always be remembered and forever in our hearts.
