Passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018, in the presence of his loving family, John T. Flynn of Lakeview, (Harbour Main), at age 73. Predeceased by his parents: William and Ellen and sister Mary. Leaving to mourn with treasured memories his loving spouse and soulmate, Shirley, his children: Michelle, Sheldon and Andrew, their mother and spouses, 6 grandchildren, as well as Shirley’s sons: Philip and Justin, their spouses and children. John was proud to be part of a large family and will be mourned by his siblings: Michael, Catherine, Gloria, William, Helen, Mildred, Isabel, Joseph, Anastasia, Claire, Frank and their families. Also left with fond memories are a large circle of extended family, friends and former co-workers. John was a man of great integrity and kindness. He was very family oriented, hard-working and superbly skilled with his hands. His easy going personality made friends effortlessly. A lover of Irish music, he enjoyed song and dance, especially a “good old scoff and scuff”. John loved the great Newfoundland outdoors–the woods, the ponds, the ocean and the scenic hills of Lakeview, particularly Charlie’s Mountain. A good man and a friend to many, John Flynn will be fondly remembered and missed. Resting
