The death occurred peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Thursday January 3, 2019 of Ray J. Chaisson, Alberton and formerly of St. Edward aged 62 years. Beloved husband of Suzanne (Gaudet) Chaisson. He was born in Alberton on September 6, 1956, the son of the late George and Delia (Bernard) Chaisson. Dear father to Chantel, Jessica, Melanie, Mitchell, Brandon and Katie; grandfather to Grace, Dawson, Ciara and Miley; great-grandfather to Thomas and Sophia. Cherished brother to Barbara Ann, George Jr. (Marilyn), Freda (Edward) Perry, Gerard (Lola); Elmer (Mary); Carmella (Reg); Wilma (Alex); Ralph (Carol), Terry (Pamela); Cecile (Louis) Donahue; Gilles and Charles (Patricia). He is also survived by sisters-in-law Linda, Donna, Nadine and Finn. He was predeceased by parents George and Delia, sister Sandra, brothers Urban, Hector, Roy, Abby and nephew Adam. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral will be held Tuesday January 8, 2019 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 3:30 pm. Interment will take place at a later date in the church cemetery.
