It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving son Philip Wade Morgan on Tuesday, January 1st, 2019 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville. He was 55 years old and a retired Navy Veteran where he served for 21 years. Leaving to mourn are his parents Dave and Rose Morgan, sister Trina Morgan, brothers: Dave Jr., Todd (Judy), Dean Morgan, and their families; aunt’s: Wanda Radford (Allen), Rita Hall and Susan Hillier (Billy); uncles: Wayne, Gary, and Butch Morgan, Gordon (Kay) and Wally Young. He also leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends here on the island and across Canada. Visitation will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville, on Sunday, January 6th, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 7th, 2019 at 2pm at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville, and Interment at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation or the Bay St. George Sick Children’s Foundation.
