Passed peacefully away at Admirals Coast Retirement Home on January 7, 2019, Myrtle Courtney, in her 104th year. Predeceased by husband, Albert (2001) and son, Albert Jr. (2008). Leaving to mourn her daughter, Sylvia (Phil); son, Jack (Joan); 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Special thank you to the staff of Admirals Coast, for their outstanding care and kindness show to our mom. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Friday, January 11, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
