It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kenneth Joseph Walsh announce his sudden but peaceful passing at his home in St. Mary's at the age of 89 years. He is predeceased by his parents Stan & Gertrude Walsh, brothers Gabriel and John and sister Ellen Philpott. He leaves to mourn with a lifetime of precious memories, his wife of 64 years Elizabeth "Betty", daughter Donna (Keith) Lee; sons: Wayne (Patricia), Bobby (Brenda) and Paul; grandchildren John, Mark, Jillian, Julia, Janice and Lisa; great-grandchildren: Lily, Madison, Caleb, Corben, Cameron, Eric and Ivy. Also left to mourn his loss are his sisters Patricia (George) Mandville and Ruth (Gerry) Fallon, sisters-in-law Helen Walsh and Rita Walsh as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Thursday, January 10, from 12 - 5pm; 7 - 9pm (No Visitation on Friday). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 11, at 10am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Good Shepherd Parish - Our Lady of Assumption Church Maintenance Fund.
