Lloyd Christopher "Chris" Crittenden

Lloyd Christopher "Chris" Crittenden

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Chris, 47, on January 22, 2019.
Chris was a long-time driver for City Wide taxi and he enjoyed taking tours from the cruise ships, so much that he had his own tour business.
He loved to talk and share his knowledge of the island. He loved trivia and games. He loved hockey, especially the Eagles, he would take in the games with his dad and brother. They would spend hours talking about hockey (and if you know the Crittendens, you know that means loudly). When he spoke about anything, he was passionate about it. He loved life and was a dedicated family man and father.
He is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Deborah Crittenden; his children, Avery and Sarah Crittenden, siblings, Mark (Angela) and Kandie (Mike) Frosst; and his long-time partner Heather MacIntyre and her (his adopted) daughter Jessie.
We would like to thank the staff of 3A, and ICU of the Cape Breton Regional for their exceptional care.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation for Chris will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019, from 6-9 p.m. at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. With funeral service to be held the following day, Friday, Jan. 23, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. With a reception to follow. Burial to take place at a later date.
He will be greatly missed and held in our hearts forever.
